Unclogged pores are a good thing. Usually they close up on their own since it was the crap in the pore that the skin conformed to. Without the crap to hold the skin open, it usually closes on its own. However if they are not closing on their own you might try some rubbing alcohol or astringint.

The best way to get rid of blackheads without spending money is to just place a very hot wash cloth on your nose for a few minutes then gently squeeze them out. If the gunk doesn't come out easily then replace the wash cloth until it comes out easily. You could also use the Biore pore strips. They work very well but hurt like heck when you pull them off.

Unclogged pores are good. You don't want to get rid of them or clog them up!

Look for an astringent that is made by one of the cheaper cosmetic companies like Suave. Use it twice a day after washing your face.
