NO!!!
Take Tylenol every 4 hours and alternate that with Ibuprofen (Motrin) every 6 hours. This will give you 2 medicines working at lowering your temp at the same time. If it gets to 104, with taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen like this, then, yes, go to the ER.

I wouldn't go to the hospital, but I would call your doctor. A fever means your body is fighting some kind of infection. I normally "manage" my fever, using ibuprophen to keep it at 100 - 101 to allow my body to heal itself. There are a few things I head to the doctor for immediately (sore throat, sinus infection). If you have fever for more than 24 hours without being normal at all, call the doctor.

Tylenol is what we use to break a fever. That and drink lots of water. Fevers tend to peak in the wee hours of the morning, so get some rest and I hope you feel better.

Take Tylenol unless you are allergic to it - if the Tylenol does not bring some relief to the fever, then call your doctor.

If you have any other symptoms that are severe (i.e. coughing, sore throat, etc.) I would call the doctor and see if you should go in. It's best to talk to a nurse.

you should see the doctor at least 100 degrees or higher to see what could be the reason for the temperature.

Keep monitoring your temp and if there are no other symptoms and your temp does not shoot up, you should be fine. If it gets worse go see your doctor
