First Aid

My 3 year old daughter was just stung by a wasp on the palm side of her hand, near her pinky finger. It's swelling up pretty bad already and I'm icing it to reduce the swelling. My question is.....Is there anything else I can do??? (Besides watch closely to make sure she doesn't have an allergic reaction!)

I have what looks like a rug burn on the side of my upper leg from falling when i was walking on the treadmill. It is pretty large and covers the side of my upper leg, but it is not very deep, only in some areas. What can I do to help it heal a lot faster, and should i go to the doctor?

My 14 year old daughter was stung by a bee yesterday on her way to school. She went to the nurses station and the nurse applied an ice pack on the top of her hand where the bee stung her. Today she woke up and her hand is a bit sowllen. Does anyone know what I should do for a bee stung. Thank you.

My boyfriend has never been around welding before and for some "odd" reason he looked into the direct light? but he looks all red in the eye areas and is complaining about not being able to c clearly, and he WON"T go 2 the hospital. I just posted another question about skin grafts, but anyway here she goes..
Is it necessary to get a skin graft once you have recieved a bad burn? The doctor says i may need to get one but is it absolutely necessary to get one or is it just to make the scar not as bad?

So I'm not exactly sure what's going on with my face but when I came back from the concert at like midnight (and being outside waiting for the concert in low 40 degree sunny weather) my face was all swollen/red.

Now there could be like 3 things as to why the swelling/redness isn't going away? (It's been like 3 hours)
1) getting sunburned from being outside all day while waiting in line.. (didn't seem that way when I took a few pictures of myself and went to the bathroom..)
2) getting sunburned by the stage lights since I was dead front center? Is that even possible? To get sunburned by stage lighting?
3) The guitarist of Armor for Sleep kicked my face while crowd diving... -- But it looks like a sunburn, even though I may have a ton of bruising..?

And finally what do I do to reduce the swelling/redness?

I have something similar to a splinter in my finger except I don't think it's wood. I was unable to remove it and it is beneath the surface of my finger. If I leave it in, will my finger become infected? Is it imperative that it be removed?
