HI

This has happened to me before..and it could be a number of things...

1. try a piece of bread..like everyone else said....1 slice of bread..broken into smaller pieces. take bites like you would normally do when eating.

2. drink a glass of warm water or tea/coffee. It will help it slide down better

3. The pill could have scratched the back of your throat and that is the irritation that you are feeling.

I hope you feel better! Colds are the worst! eek

You should always drink a full glass of water when you take any pills. Believe me, it's not stuck back there. I know, it feels like it, but pills dissolve so they can't get stuck like that. Try eating something and drink some hot tea. That will get rid of that feeling. Besides, hot tea is GREAT for a cold. That and hot-n-sour soup!

Drink an entire glass of water with your chin tucked toward your chest. This will widen the pharynx (upper and lower throat) and allow the pill to pass.

It is probably not stuck. That happens to me quite often and I think it is stuck. The feeling usually goes away if you drink a big glass of water.

Drink some carbonated liquid. Ginger ale, coke whatever. You can even gargle with it. It will help.
