I burnt my thumb and index finger on the pads....now the spots where I burned them are raised and shiney, and really hurts. Any thing I can do to ease the pain?

Seriously, I have a phobia of spiders and was wondering if anyone has been bit by a brown wolf spider or any other type of spider??? Anyways what I was wondering is...how does it feel??? Is it really really painful, does it feel like a bee sting, Please share with me your experience.........

I did not think that the cut looked that bad at first but I guess I was wrong. It has slowly been bleeding all day now. Hindsight tells me I should have gotten stitches when it happened but I think that is no longer an option as the cut is too old. My finger is stiff and throbs. The cut is the entire width of my finger. When I move my finger I can see the flesh inside of the cut on both sides.
What should I do?

Anybody ever dealt with the company that makes Matterhorn Heavy Duty Boots ? Mine are the 12255 style with one size smaller in the interior , and I need to see about getting that fixed. Numb toes on a disaster is not a good thing. Thanks.

i got my cast all the way upto my armpit....and its pst my elbow and at my elbow i had 2 big cuts,i had put bandaids and the doctor just put some soft cloth over it,isnt that bad to have a open wound and it beig in a cast?

Can a doctor help?
Today at school we disected a frog. and my friend cut me with a probe,on "accident", and then i poked him with the tweezers.
i made him wash it off his hands cold water and soap and hand sanitizer. then a little bump appeared on his hand. it did not bleed or cut the skin. is anything going to happen to him?

The tools were soaked in water, we were wearing gloves. and i dont want his mom to know then i will get in trouble

I had nose surgery Monday and the area underneath my eyes are swollen and very bruised. What can I do to make this go away asap. I put ice on it, but it sems to be getting worst. How long before it goes away? What else can I do to help it go away?

I had my finger slammed in a door. No swelling, just a bruise and bending it is painful. My husband bought me one of those metal splints w/ foam on the inside so I wouldn't move it. I don't think I broke it.... but how long would someone NORMALLY wear one of these things?

And BTW I'm one of those people that hates going to the doctor! I'm not goin to the DR over this. I would not voluntarily go ,unless I was dragged there.

I just read a story about a dog who peformed a type of heimlich manuever on his owner to dislodge an apple slice that was in her windpipe...now I'm afraid to eat! Well, not that extreme, but the story just scares me.

Are we generally safe when it comes to eating? (I was thinking that as humans we are meant to eat, so the process shouldn't pose a threat to us)

When we eat food, doesn't it always go down our esophagus to our stomach for digestion?

How can something get in the windpipe? How can we prevent that?

Can't a person still breathe at least a little even if something is in there?

I hope someone can ease my worries. =(
