I found a tick crawling on my hand and it bit me! Now there's a spot on my hand that's swelling and it itches.

dont worry about it. alcohol helps stop the itch

Apply ice to the bite mark. This may help to decrease pain, itching and swelling from the bite. Put crushed ice in a plastic bag or use a bag of frozen corn or peas. Cover it with a towel. Put this on your bite for 15 to 20 minutes out of every hour for as long as you need it. Do not sleep on the ice pack because you can get frostbite.

make sure you got the head out, and the swelling and itching is normal...but it should be gone within a small amount of time...and scrub the area with soap and water...

Im not an expert but you could possibly have lime disease my cousine had similar signs when she got bit by a tick and it was lime disease. So get it cheaked out as soon as posible.

In addition to the other answers, save the tic for identification. Lyme disease tics are very tiny.
