Cuts in your mouth very seldom get infected. Your saliva protects against it. However, you can keep it clean by using a half water - half hydrogen peroxide solution.

I hope your tooth did not get knocked loose because you can get an infection under your tooth that way. If your tooth becomes sensitive to cold or hot drinks or food or hurts when you chew on it, you need to get that checked out by the dentist.

Good luck to you.

You don't have to do a lot of things, because it's the region of the body with good perfusion, and it will be OK soon. But, you can fash it with water. If it's on your skin, not on mucosa, you can wash it with 3% hydrogen peroxide.

rinse your mouth out with hot water and salt. it doesn't taste very well but it will clear any infection you have in your mouth. and prevent one.
