In some cultures a spot on the sheet is still used to determine if a bride "was" a virgin on her wedding night.
Because some normal, ordinary women do not bleed at all, a dear aunt and/or grandmother would place a sewing needle just under the corner of the mattress so the bride could prick her finger...
Take a mirror and look at yourself down there. Getting to know your own body is a part of growing-up. If the tissue spanning the opening of your vagina is thick and spans a distance, then the answer is "a lot," between a (US) nickel and a quarter-size is about average. If the tissue is thin and only spans a small part of the opening, then the answer is smaller than a dime, but bigger than a green pea.
If you don't see any tissue at all, then the most common reason is a bike injury as a little kid.
Should you find you want or need more information, this site might help (though I didn't read the whole page).

If it is a boy telling you that you might as well go ahead and do it again...well...look before you leap at that old try.
If staying intact really/really matters, then ask either your dearest aunt or grandmother to provide a sewing needle...
or just sit quietly in a chair until you are ready.

Ok, I agree with the lady who said that it depends on the person, I don't think that anything is wrong with you. I also kinda agree with the lady that said ask your mom. You seem a little worried and if you have these type of questions, you need to have somewhere you can go to talk when you have a problem. Do you have a planned parenthood or health department in your area? Since you have the internet, do a search for planned parenthood and check out their website, they can lead you to one in your area. It will be a great place you can go to ask these types of questions without having to be embarrassed or worry about your moms. You can get free condoms and birth control pills from a place like this too. Before I started having sex, my friends and I made frequent visits to get colorful condoms and such because it was in walking distance from my school. Now that my niece is 15yrs and probably will be facing this sooner than I'de hope, I've showed her where it is located in our town, just so she can go there when she can't come to me.

It varies with everyone. I did not bleed at all. It is never a whole lot of blood, but it is noticable with some women.
