Hello, have you ever had FLE?
Anyway, periods are a result of the female reproductive organs starting to work, particularly the uterus, where the egg is "laid" from the ovaries. At least one egg is "laid" a month(sometimes fluctuates). If fertilized, the egg develops into a baby. If not, which is most often the case, the uterine lining (made of tissue and) prepared for the egg's development comes out and girls have their periods. This is a pain for all women and you should be thankful to your mother...

Are you kidding me? How old are you? Have you taken biology or human anatomy classes in school yet? Life science? Seriously...
And I suppose the male form of mesntration would be wet dreams... Of course those apparently go away, I suppose so does mesntration but when the woman's in her 50's...

women have them, too. they are caused by the sloughing of uterine tissues each month. this means that only those with a uterus can have a period.
