during cold weather my knee, dislocates, swells up, or the knee will float. i'm 18 years old...this has been happening to me since i was very young. i have been doing excercises, and biking, taking pills, but nothing is working. i really need to know whats going on with me and what i can do to fix this problem. my chiropractor had said that it might be because of the growth spurts i've been having but those have stopped. i'm scared to walk, and to ride my bike after my knee feels better. i've done the ice and rest, i've done the soaking in warm water...nothing is helping, i weigh 155, i'm 5'7 i'm not over weight....theres something else. please someone tell me whats wrong with my knee, and what i have to do to fix it.

I go to sleep between 10:45-12:00, and wake up around 7:30, but I ALWAYS wake up tired.

Mind you, after 8:30 or 9:00, I feel 100%. I feel fully refreshed and energized, and I don't feel tired up until 10:30 pm or so.. But I'm always groggy and find it impossible to get up on time in the morning.

I exercise regularly, eat healthy, and sleep on a tempurpedic matress.

Any ideas?

If I ever cry, I get a terrible headache, even if it's just a few tears falling down and no sobbing or frowning or any other muscle movement that could prevent oxygen intake. I know this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to find an answer with a plausible explanation.

So why does crying cause headaches?

Hi i was wondering if anyone knows of a good health coverage/medical insurance that will cover services that were obtained just a few months maybe even weeks before insurance was actually obtained. The reason i ask is because i dont have any health insurance and i have been having chest pain for the last 2 days and it feels like its coming from my heart kind of a dull achy but yet sometime sharp pain and discomfort.I want to see a doctor. I dont know they may do test or something and its going to be expensive. So please any advice i am very scared as i am only 22. Thanks

Since Monday my boyfriends feces is kind of a yellowish, cream color. It has never been like this before. But he has changed alot of his eating habits. On Sunday he started eating a lot of cheese, mayo, and switched his soda that he drinks. I asked him if he felt sick, nausea, cramps, and symptoms and he feels just fine.
Could this be why or is there something else going on.

My 20 month old daughter has a chest cold for which her pediatrician prescribed an oral liquid antibiotic. Turns out the pharmacist typed the wrong dosing instructions on the label, and she was getting twice as much per dose as the doctor recommended. The pharmacy admits it was their error, so for about 4 days, my daughter has been getting a double dose of antibiotic.

What should I be looking for in terms of symptoms that may indicate she is being negatively affected by the over-dosing? I don't want to make a big deal of it if there is no harm done to my daughter. People are human and make mistakes.

Sedatives are not analgesics. Most of the patients in ICUs are unconscious from their condition anyway. Sedatives such as Lorazepam administered for a long time via IV drip can even cause retrograde amnesia. So why are they sedated? Is it so that they would not wake up and remove tubes, catheters etc.?

Ok, so I was going to donate blood for the first time Tuesday at my school (I'm 17) and they wouldn't let me. The reason supposedly being that my pulse was a little too high (well...no supposedly about it). It was about a 104. That's the highest I've seen it. And my blood pressure was 123/72 (when I was getting ready to get my wisdom teeth out, it was like 108/73 or something...lol?) but I can't figure out why. Is it possible to still be wired on a huge cappuccino that I had over 24 hours before??? Idk...this probably doesn't make any sense...

I have problems relating to my nose and my eyes. I constantly live my life with a plugged nose. One hole is always open while the other one is not. Sometimes it switches holes though. Does anybody know any natural remedies to this problem? I also tend to pick my nose when it feels irritated also, could that be the reason why its irritated?? Secondly, I constantly have irritated eyes. I am not sure as to what this is from but it is very annoying as well. I feel like a fool every time I have to open wide my eyes in front of my friends due to my problem. Also when I am reading I tend to have to open them wide also and it is very hard to keep a consistent reading session without my eyes bothering me. BTW I have very long eyelashes and I feel that they sometimes get in the way. Is there anyway to fix this problem? Whether it be clipping my eyelashes or something else? Thankyou and the help is very appreciated!!
