I'm so grossed out, please tell me what this bug is. It was alive when I found it in the kitchen and killed it with a book. When I saw it it was on it's hind legs waving its arms in the air and waving its antennas around. I really hope it's not a deadly bug.. or even worse a roach. Please help me thanks!!!

ps- the photos are of the dead bug.. nasty sorry

It's not a roach.
The first photo is too blurred.
The second photo is too far away.
It could have been a cricket, if the body was thick enough.

Very few bugs are deadly!
It's NOT a black widow.
You could google search for insects and see if you can find a live one in photos.

But right now it's the best kind of insect... a dead one... so that's all that's important.

Doesn't look like a roach to me.
I doubt it's deadly. Gross, but not deadly.
If more show up, call an exterminator.

Oh and for future reference - should you ever have a roach or roach like bug in your house DO NOT SMASH IT!. That's how the eggs are spread.

Its a damn bug. Chill out. No it is not deadly. It won't harm you. If you put it on you, guess what would happen. It would run around aimlessly. Hes just a little feller.
