having problem some nights with needing to urinate all night about every hour. if i drink then it is more often. no diabetes. i measured the amount to be only about 150 ml on the average each time i go in the night. someone says this is way to low of an amount. said usually people should release about 300 to 400ml each time you go. 41 years old. guess it is prostate flaring up certain nights . when first happened doc checked and saw no diabetes or UTI . i cant feel bladder, just male organ feel like it fills up and needs to go. doesnt feel like bladder has any more when i push against it after finishing. prostate closing off something.? zinc or saw palmetto good? amounts of them to take? thanks much

at night while you sleep your bladder shouldn't be processing that much urine. there is medication they can give to help that, what they give bed wetting kids. yes it's not much 150ml but added up it's a lot through the night. if the prostate was closing it off i would think you would have signs in the flow also being weaker? the doctor can check your prostate if he hasn't already. something isn't right, hope you can feel better soon.

go to the doc, have him do the "finger wave" to check for benign prostatic hypertrophy. (BPH) This is a benign condition that affects a lot of men your age. The prostate surrounds the urethra and when it "grows bigger" it cuts off the urine stream. Then, you have a full bladder and it "leaks" 150 ml. A classic sign of bladder cancer is blood in the urine. Same for prostate. Are you having low back pain? Another sign of BPH. No worry, medication can fix it.

doctors asap this is a classic sign of prostate cancer get it checked
