If I ever cry, I get a terrible headache, even if it's just a few tears falling down and no sobbing or frowning or any other muscle movement that could prevent oxygen intake. I know this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to find an answer with a plausible explanation.

So why does crying cause headaches?

A lot of it has to do with stress, and the fact that when you cry, you don't take in as much oxygen as you would with normally breathing. Your muscles tense and your face clenches. All of this will contribute to headache symptoms.
Holding your breath reduces oxygen in your blood, therefore, reducing the amount of oxygen going to your brain. The capillaries become smaller with less oxygen. When you start taking in more oxygen, the capillaries are already smaller. Your body trying to pump the blood/oxygen through to your brain is painful (like a throbbing) now because the capillaries are smaller.

The Science of Acupuncture can only answer it satisfactorily.

IF CRYING IS DUE TO ANGER IT REPRESENTS THE EXCESS FIRE OF LIVER WHICH WILL RESULT H/A.

if it is due to sadness it means lung is overacting on liver and deficient liver too cause h/a sometimes.

We get treatment results accordingly.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects.

If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds!
