I'm not quite sure how this pain started, but my upper back and the right side of my neck are experiencing brutal pain. It's the type of ache where the muscles are tense, almost stiff. I've gotton several massages, and have taken warm to hot showers. I have normal sleeping habits, and have a healthy and well balanced diet. Is there any way in which I could make myself feel at least a bit better?
If this is any reason why this pain is here today, it's most likely the stress I've been through (studying, working all the time). I wish I can relax more, but I have so many things to do, and so little time to do them.
I'm in pain, and I'm miserable (as far as my back goes). Please, some home-made advice?

My primary doctor has everything about me since I was born. Now that my insurance change and I'm now a young adult, I've now gone from private office to Hospital.

I herniated my L5 last year in December. I am a track runner and distance runner, so my doctor thinks the trauma caused by the running and weak abs may have caused it. Anyway, im actually regaining flexibility and movement, but does anyone know how long it takes to fully heal? I cant wait to get back to running!

Hi, I'm just coming down with a cold. I'm going to a party tomorrow. How can prevent it from becoming a full-blown cold, at least I don't want to have to blow my nose every minute. Please, help. Thanks

Yes, weird question.

I administered myself a home urine drug test back in June. All was okay, except I left an extra enclosed urine container in a cabinet in my room by accident. All the urine is in the container. I don't want to open the container at all.

Should I just dispose of the container?

Yes, whenever I try and hold up four fingers, my thumb hurts. Can I have carpel tunnel? I read somewhere that aching in the wrist and thumb is a sign.

If I do have it, are there any excersices to relieve it?
I don't want surgery.

Hi, I was wondering if people who are put on life support ever "recover" from that condition. My grandmother was taken to the hospital because of breathlessness that was a combination of old age and a respiratory infection. Apparently, she was stabilized thereafter. However, I've now heard that she is on life support. Is this a way to help her "recover" from the respiratory infection or just a way to prolong the inevitable?

Thanks.

they advertise these commercials and say TELL YOUR DOCTOR. I am not medically trained!...besides, all these commericals sure do list a whole bunch of SIDE EFFECTS......example ~ this pill will help you sleep...HOWEVER, the side effects could be heart attack, stroke and liver failure!!! what's up with these commercials?

If all things were equal in the world (i know they are not) is there enough food produced in the world each year through import/export etc so nobody would go hungry and every body could have a meal or two each and every day?

Or cant the world produce enough food to simply feed every body reguarly

Are Formic acid and Formaldehyde truly productions of the body? If so, are they still harmful if someone consumes too much? (I'm writing a research report and I MUST know this or all my proof will be void.) Please, also state how you know the answer you give.

I started realizing on Monday September 25th that my urine has been a dark yellow color. I've been noticing too that I am dehydrated but I've always been drinking water. I know the more you drink water, the urine will turn clear. I am not taking any vitamins but I am taking birth control pills. ( For the past 4 years)FYI: I recently broke out in hives the week before. Is the hives makin my urine a dark yellow? For the hives, I was taking Benadryl Allergy and I used the Aveeno anti-itch lotion. I am worried. I have been feeling lazy and I guess tired. Is there something wrong with me? Just yesterday, I went to see a doc to get medication and creme for my hives and I couldn't ask her about my urine because my meeting with her went too fast. Please help....any doctors or nurses out there???
