f you're trying to administer a suppository and the recipient is clenching his/her cheeks how do you make it so they relax themselves?

If they want the suppository inserted but can't get over the clench reflex, tell them to lie down on their side and put their knees to their chest. A lubbed suppository will slip in easily.
If the recipient is an adult and is not willing, stomp on their foot. The pain will make them forget about you going for their butt and they bend over. You should have anout 5 seconds to shoot that torpedo.

Place your finger (gloved) with lube on it right at the sphincter or point where it is clenched, press lightly for a minute a reflex will relax the sphincter making it easier to pass.

Have the person get in bed on their left side, use KY and a gloved hand and allow them to relax a bit and explain what you are doing...As for the other peole who answered this as if it were a joke...I am going to love having you idiots for my patient someday....Bend over and grab your ankles!!
