ouch nothing you can do for a broke toe especially little toe. just try to bandage it up best you can to keep from accidently hitting it, wear loose shoes, and take something for the pain. your really wasting your money at the dr. because there isn't anything they can do but say "yep it's broke, that'll be 300.00 please"

I work for a podiatrist. There isn't much you can do for a broken toe except wrap it like a splint. I would stay off it more than 2 weeks. You just had trauma to the toe and it will take awhile. Don't bend it. Walk with your foot stabilized. Did you get a post operative shoe?

Definately sounds broken. In the meantime you should get it X-rayed and wear flip-flops to keep your toe comfortable. Tape it up to the toe next to it to support it. Also put ice on it and elevate the foot when you're resting. Hope your toe gets better soon.

It sounds like it definitely could be broken, but borken or not, there's not really anything you (or the doctors) can do about it. Tape it to the toe next to it to support and stabilize it. Try wearing sandals or open toed shoes to keep pressure from the shoe on it and try to stay off of it. Good luck. I know it's painful.

wait!

Let me get this straight...

You are getting an X-Ray of a little toe that you broke??!!??

Let me save you some money:

When you brake that little toe, don't even bother with a doctor.

All they will do, in the end, is tape it to another toe.

THAT IS IT.

Trust me. I broke my little toe on my left foot twice, and my right toe once.

You could have a hairline fracture or crack. It is extremely painful, but without an x-ray, you don't know.
As for gym, you might have to extend that 2 week period if it's broke, especially if you can't wear closed shoes.

it could be broken, but you can't really do anything except secure it....tape 2 toes together(not to tight).it will look worst before it looks better
