i have limb girdle muscular dystrophy and i am wheelchair bound.

Absolutely! While setting in your chair, flex (suck in) your stomach and bend over to "touch your toes". Only bend as far as is comfortable for you. Also, if you can before you get in your chair, try doing crunches. They are like sit-ups with out going all the way up. If you can, try to raise your legs up while laying on your back. Just flex your stomach muscles to help balance yourself and work your abs. Before you start any exercise plan, you should consult your doctor.

you can do sit-ups or crunches. Can you move your arms? Or can you swim? Cardio is the best for getting rid of the belly.

Also try cutting out cheese from your diet.
