I've had my eyes swell shut from the sh*t. They usually recommend seeing a doctor if it affects the eyes, genitals or if it covers 30% or more of your body. They can give you a steroid shot or pills that will greatly reduce the swelling, itching and burning. Avoid using antihistamine or hydrocortisone creams on your face. The skin is more sensitive and they can cause thinning or discoloration.

DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN YOUR EYES. You need a prescription medication prescribed by your doctor, and you need to see a doctor as soon as possible. Poision ivy can also get into your internal systems, and your eyes and tear ducts can allow for easy transmission.
