I'm not quite sure how this pain started, but my upper back and the right side of my neck are experiencing brutal pain. It's the type of ache where the muscles are tense, almost stiff. I've gotton several massages, and have taken warm to hot showers. I have normal sleeping habits, and have a healthy and well balanced diet. Is there any way in which I could make myself feel at least a bit better?
If this is any reason why this pain is here today, it's most likely the stress I've been through (studying, working all the time). I wish I can relax more, but I have so many things to do, and so little time to do them.
I'm in pain, and I'm miserable (as far as my back goes). Please, some home-made advice?

Could it be muscle aches like you are getting the flu? Have you tried those things (I don't know what they are called) that are like heat and stick to your body like a wrap? You could be under alot of stress and that could cause it. How about a hot bath?

wen i had bad pain i took 3 spoons of epsoms salts in a glass of warm lemon water, the pain was gone in half an hour!!! i was so happy!
but wen u do this stay home, cos epsoms salts is a laxative.
i read that pain can mean the liver is full of crap, so a liver detox is best, lots of lemmon water and fresh fruit juice n vegie juice. but never mix ur fruit with veg.
cheers!

work some cold showers or ice baths in to the treatment. If it is something that is inflammed, sounds like that from description, heat will only make it worse.
