General Health Care - August 2006

When I get migraine headaches, I forget names, words, etc...

It's next to impossible for me to carry on a conversation when I get these headaches, because I can't think of the words I want to use to form sentences...

Something as simple as, "Will you please turn off the light?" becomes a 30-second struggle and it turns into, "Will you... ummmm, ummmm... wait... turn off the light? Please?"

What's the explanation for this? (I'm sure there has to be one!)

P.S. If you suffer from migraines, does this happen to you also? Thanks!

ok one of my baby siters is here with me now an shes in 7 th gr gifted program so shes helping me spell. the words r mine. my mom went to work. also im on lockdown an they r being paid to wach me til school starts. than i will be put in the ymca after school prog. im a 13 yr boy. a boy dated me. my mom tok me to the hospital after i told her. the police came too. i was naked on a table. they were poking all round evan in my mouth an that oter place. they rubed this liquid all over my body. they took away all my cloths. the nurses were smiling an that made it worse. i thout it was lik a horror movie. the girl that i was with whan the boy met me she cross dressed me. she got real mad an called me later an told me that the police came an got the skirt an stuff i was waring. im not gay but i was walking in the park with her. my mom was away for the weekend. he thout i was a tom boy girl. she told me to play along. later me an him went out did stuff. mom wont let me alone anymore.

stings to the touch, got some ice on it, can use it pretty ok but still stings..i just got frustrated with something and started hittin my bed. so not sure if i pinched a vein...or its just swollen..its right between my first finger and middle finger knuckle..any suggestions would be cool thanks..

I get the worst headaches every moring..they hurt so bad that i get so dizzy from them and i can't move to fast or ill get sick.. i am a coffee drinker, i sleep with the fan on..im not a bigg water drinker.. my eye sight isnt the best but the headaches usually occur right in the early morning..any one have a suggestions to why.??

My husband recently went to the doctors for a physical and the doctor went on and on about his blood pressure 140/100 yes I know this is high but my husband does get anxious at times. So he put my husband on some meds after a week of home testing his bp I never once got a reading over 132/90 the lowest being 102/68 but today he went back to the docs and more med changes. I think they are treating my husband for the wrong issue. I think he may have an anxiety disorder not blood pressure issues. what do you think?

im 18 and i get serious migraines...i get a really bad one about every 2-3months which last a month and i always end up in hospital and once a month i get ones that last 3-4days ...but i cant find out when im gonna get them cos they are all over the place and i cant work or go to skool or anything when i get them they are ruining my life...i started preventions tablets on monday but is there anything else i can do?? i dont really feel like taking tablets for the rest of my life
