how many people die from syphilis? How many people in the U.S. have syphilis? How does this compare to other countries?

I looked everywhere for the answer to this and I can't find it!

I took a STD and HIV test in October 2006. I never went back for the results because I was told by the head nurse (who calls people back to tell them they have an STD or HIV) that if your test results come back with anything positive they will call you. She also added that if you are clean you will not recieve a phone call. After she left the room another nurse told me I needed to come back to get the results. The test results usually come in within three to seven days. Well I never got a call back and so three weeks later I called them, but missed their phone call and never got around to calling them back. It's almost Feb. 2007 am I safe to assume that I'm clean?

I am so confused. I just went to the doctor and found I had bacterial vaginosis and now I have 2 red bumps in the pubic hair area. And twice before I had these same bumps that itch but do not hurt and not blisters. Last time I had one a week for 4 weeks. Everytime one went away a new one came. Any ideas???? I have been tested for all other STD's and all were negative., Please help

Im windering if this is normal, on the left and right side of my penis rim of the head I have small pen point dots. there just dots dont hurt dont have white or anything im just wondering if thats normal or if my penis is supose to just be clean with no dots on the rim. id say i have like 10 on each side. I have had genital herpes for a year and within the year i have miscarried twice. I am currently taking Valtrex, but how long do I have to wait before getting pregnant again? The doctor said I miscarried because of the herpes. I just found out I have them about 3 months ago.

I have only had sex with 3 partners in my life. All of them were in close relationships where we did not have sex immediately and had trusting relationships where we discussed our sexual past. My ex husband gave me herpes and after i divorced him i had 2 short relationships with men who got herpes on their chin. I told them i had it before ever having sex with them. i feel so guilty but they think nothing of it. Quit having sex because i feel so guilty when i pass it on. Insist they use condoms, so it's just their face that gets infected. I'm very pretty, lonely and am going nuts not having sex!
