No. There is a six month window where they may detect it if you are positive, but they may not. After six months the test is much more reliable.

From what I've heard about HIV tests, it can take 1 year for the test to come back positive if you are HIV positive. So, maybe wait a few weeks and then get tested. Then get tested again in 6 months, then in another 6 months.
I'm not a medical professional, just going on what I've heard on tv shows.

in case you settlement HIV you have the indicators a number of that are sore throat and swollen glands. It takes quite a few years to understand and a minimum of six months for a blood attempt to coach HIV. i'm no professional, so call a lab. To be on my own or with purely one guy or woman who's committed is superb for HIV is a plague for which there is not any treatment yet and it will carry approximately a dying that has lots suffering. I used to artwork as a Nurse is how i understand.

If I had sex with someone and you want to get tested, I'd reckon I'm just plain confused by the question...
Getting tested for stuff, including pregnancy, is not going to be accurate the day after.
Make an appointment by all means, then go back and get retested.
They give out free condoms at those clinics, which might come in handy.

I know a guy that had to wait 7 years after being accidentally stuck with a needle before he could have unprotected sex with his girlfriend. You may want to have the person you had sex with tested instead of you.

Unfortunatley no, there is a 6month "waiting" period. The disease takes about that long to replicate in your blood , and produce enough detectable antigens.
