not necessarily... it isn't normal though but it could be that your not drinking enough water that will make your urine very concentrated... but there could be an infection present... other symptoms??? burning, itching, redness??? see your GP anyway just to be safe.

I am in Thailand now, eat lots of different vegetables every day, the green ones make my urine smell like I had been eating asparagus. When I switch to a American diet everything is normal. So.....what are you eating has a direct effect on what is coming out of you. just my two cents.

No, it could mean and probably does mean you are not drinking anywhere near enough water. Try drinking 64 oz of water a day.
Do you take vitamins? Could be the vitamins causing the odor.
Give water a month, if no change, see a Doctor, just to be sure all is well.

It is normal for urine to smell, drink cranberry juice for Urinary Track Infections. It works great.

No, its usually from what you ate or drank. If you dont drink enough liquids your urine smell will be a lot stronger.

not neccessarily sounds like you need to drink alot more water. Usually that's what's wrong. If you drink more water it cleanses your body and your urine doesn't stink anymore.

all good answers, but one thing not thought of is diabetes. when sugar is expelled in those with diabetes it can take on a very strange odor. get your blood sugar checked and drink water.

No. it's from food you have eaten, tuna and salmon have the same effect on me.
