I have only had sex with 3 partners in my life. All of them were in close relationships where we did not have sex immediately and had trusting relationships where we discussed our sexual past. I have not had sex in 4 years and am a reborn virgin. I have never shown any symptoms of any STD in my life. Should I be concerned about having something?

I really can't say unless the people you were in an relationship with were getting tested. I have the same problem and both have been tested and they are fine. But i need to get tested myself to make sure I'm not carrying anything.

His first reason doesn't make any sense. Just use a condom or birth control pills. His second reason is a personal choice that should be respected, but that doesn't mean you should ignore or sacrifice your own needs. His third reason is dumb. Personally, I would not be able to deal with this situation either. I would not be able to be abstinent for four years nor would I want to be. So I would not wait around. You're young and have your whole life ahead of you, do what makes YOU happy. Quite frankly there are plenty other fish in the sea. Btw, all these people saying this guy is a great catch and that you are screwed up are DEAD WRONG! Don't listen to them. Just because someone likes/enjoys/wants sex doesn't mean they're a perv or a cheater. So just because he wants to wait to have sex doesn't mean he's a great guy and just because you want to have sex doesn't mean there's something wrong with you. Once you've become sexually active it's almost impossible to not have a strong desire to continue to want sex. People need to get over their weird ideas. Sex is a normal, natural act.

You never do know. If any sex you had was unprotected that increases your odds of getting and transmitting an STD. The best thing to do at this point is to have a STD screening/testing done and you will know for sure where things stand. The problem with a lot of STD's is that they dont show symptoms.
