I've had red bumps all over my skin since I was a child they started on the backs of my arms and shins and over time they have spread to my arms and my upper legs and now they are getting on my stomach I was just wondering if anyone knew of a home remedy or an over the counter remedy that might clear it up. I went to a dermatologist and he said tanning would help can anyone back that up. he also said it might be keryotosis pilaris whatever that maybe its due to large pores on my body does anyone know how to close those? please anything will help I am NOT stressed, nothing in my life has changed, and they DO NOT ITCH never have.

Took me over 3 years, but I FINALLY got the courage to go to a dermatologist for my acne scars.

I hated it.

The doctor was mean, he made me feel like a freak. He asked what I was there for and I said I had taken accutane but now have scars. And all he said was "And......????" Like I was stupid or something!

I almost cried, I had tears in my eyes. I said "And, I want to do something about them". He sighed and said "Lets take a look" and shined a light on me, and said "yeah, you have some moderate scarring. We don't treat that here, you have to go to a plastic surgeon."

He then gave me some retin-a & a referal to a plastic surgeon and sent me on my way. It was so HARD for me to even go there, and tell him something I am so embarrassed about and I felt like a freak at a freak show (There was some nurse in the room taking notes too).

I drove home crying, I've always hated doctors & this visit just made me even more scred of them. What did I do wrong?

I occasionally get a zit or two and they ussually go away within a few days. I have very clear skin but i have really bad clogged pores on my nose and its embarassing cause I cant get close up pictures without them showing up in the photo looking 100 times bigger than they actually are. Perfect exapmle my stepdad was messing with the zoom on his new camera and I was the only one around so I was the guene pig he put the picture on the computer and he called everyone to the computer pointing at my nose where all my clogged pores are. To make matters worse he set it as the wallpaper on the moniter for the longest time and he threatened to show my boyfriend the hidious picture of my nose. So anyone know any home remidies or a product you have had success with?

The last few years I've noticed that I have these white, circular spots (not raised or anything, even w/my skin) on my legs. Doesn't matter if I'm in the pool, in the sun, getting dressed, etc. They are just there..........and no they aren't always in the same spot. What could this be?

I am unable to use deoderants , colognes, prfumes or any of the all natural products out the to keep my armpits from smelling. I have used baby powder but that only last about two hours and I work in a kitchen so it makes things worse. Is there anything I can use that might work so I don't have to deal with the armpit smell???

I have large pores right under my eyes near my nose, and pimples on my fore head and some where my large pores are. I also have these blackish-brownish spots on my nose, where if you pop them pus comes out, just like pimples. Are these blackheads? If they are, how can you get rid of them? I've tried acne medicines of all kinds and wash my face every day, but these things won't go away! What are other things i can do to hide them?

I have what to some is considered adult acne. I had absolutely clear skin until I got pregnant and had my daughter, and ever since then I have had an "hormonal imbalance" as they call it.
I have tried everything! Proactive, dermotologists and their many solutions - I have almost done it all.
I now use Neutrogena make up, which doesn't get rid of it, but does seem to help. I have recently heard that Physicians Formula is even better, does anyone know if this is true??

I will one day get the lazer that supposedly takes it all away, but for now I need the best in make up for acne thats noncomedogenic.

Do you know how Neutrogena and Physicians Formula compare? Is it worth changing over? If you use or have used either or both of these please let me know your opinion.

Thank you.
