when i came to austrlia i became a lot darker in middle primary skool yrs and this was mostly due to swimming and playing in the sun witout ANY sunscreen at all. is there anyone who can tell me how i cn regain my skin complexion?..its not reali hereditary as parents are both light skinned and so are brother lthough they became fairer with age (from 15 they became fairer etc) ..i'm 18

I had a pimple on my face and i was trying to pop it and i took a bit of skin off. I have been usuing clearasil ultra on it and it has cleared upa bit, still pretty big now but now there is a scab on it from the skin i took off. should i keep using my clearasil to get rid of it or leave it alone or put polysporin on it? I want it to go away is as few days as possible...thanks!

i have a oily type of face texture. i have pimples all the year round. usually they leave a mark. i've tried using a pack of coconut water, honey n lemon juice. does his pack remove those n also makes ur complexion fairer. plz plz help !

I have what looks like a pimple on the base of my penis. It doesnt burn or anything, though it is a bit sensitive to the touch, just as a facial pimple would be. Its a little red on this area. I think this is either a pimple or an in-grown hair. what do you think? and if its a pimple, anything specific you know of that would get rid of it quick?

My gran has none, except on her eyes and head. Even when she was a teen, she was hairless. I know this because she told me and when she had to have an operation, and needed to be shaved, and the nurse couldn't see any. I looked closely at her arms. No hair.

i went to a derm from the time i was a freshman in highschool till my freshman year in college. my skin just got worse as the years went on even though i saw a derm every month and got new perscriptions. i went through two of the most well known dermatologists in the state. one told me "accutane is the only option left" and the other one told me "either accutane or laser treatments." I did numerous antibiotics, creams, and glycolic peels all which just left my skin red and irritated. i did the laser treatment once and was so alarmed by the apparent dryness (i had very oily skin) that i didnt want to go back.
so, here i am 4 months later with no medication or creams that ive been using. i love the freedom of not being bound to them and feeling the burning feeling of creams. however, my skin is still the same and my dad keeps pushing me to get a laser treatment. im so sick and tired of all this crap and im just accepting my bad skin. i dont want to do lasers for years to come.

I have severe acne scarring and am looking into having laser resurfacing done on my skin. I have tried looking on the internet to find info about Sacramento County doctors and have been unsuccessful. The amount of information out there is overwhelming and I'm not sure how to filter through it. I am looking for recommendations, ideas, suggestions, opinions, anything that will help. I am on a budget, a tight one, and although I know this might sound tacky, I am looking for someone who is willing to take payments and work with me.

This is the 2nd time it happened to me from using Blistex "Medicated Berry with SPF15". The first time I had this problem (redness->red swollen lips, painful cracks in corners), I only just arrived in Canada, and started to use this to protect my lips against the dry climate. Didn't make the connection then that it might be Blistex that was causing this. I kept reapplying it for days, and the situation only got worse. Went to see the college nurse, who "prescribed" me another type of Blistex, this time the green medicated one. Didn't work out. Still extremely painfully cracked, swollen lips. I could hardly talk, couldn't smile, could only eat tiny pieces of food. Went on for 3 weeks(!!!), till I finally gave up on Blistex and used petroleum jelly (vaseline). After a few days, my lips started to heal again. I used Blistex again 2 days ago, and got the same sitation and made the connection, so stopped immediately. Now, back to using vaseline again. Anyone also got this problem b4?

Hi Helpful Humans Of Yahoo!,

I've noticed when I work out at the gym and I perspire, by the time I get home, I have a breakout on my back and chest. It's instant. My back will breakout really badly and it's hard to get rid of.
Also I have to get a little personal....... I have pimple like pumps on the scalp of my head. They are spread out but more concentrated on the back of my neck.

Ok and here is the embarrassing sympton.... I have a breakout on my pubic hair area. Only topical. I noticed this satrted happening after I recieved a very aggressive and painful waxing. But somehow I dont think that is what is causing it, unless she somehow damaged my hair folicles from a harsh waxing????

I feel like I've been dealing with breakouts alot lately. I've also been stressing out alot and stopped reciving depo-pravera (bc) shot. Could it be hormones????

Is there a Dermotologist in the house?Thanks everyone.

hey guys. i used the clear away remover, and when i took it off it just turned white. i didnt re apply it.. but now after a few days the wart has slowly turning back to my skin color and now has a circle mark around it (like the disk).... how do i know it works? after it turns white what happens?

I'm not sure if I have eczema or not, but I keep getting these little itchy bumpy patches that worsen during seasonal changes. I've tried like thirty types of lotion and nothing does the trick. I want it to go away, not just soothe. Please help, and offer me some suggestions.

im 23 years old and i still get acne, mostly on my cheeks. i have alot of blemishes on my cheeks left over from previous breakouts. can anyone recommend any treatment/products for my face. i have tried alot of over the counter stuff but nothing seems to work. i would prefer not to use salicyic acid and benozoyle peroxide products cause they dont work. also the products have to be safe to use while trying to get pregnant
