Okay. So i am pretyy nervous and stressed out about this, so any help you have to offer is very appreciated.

1.) I think my muscles are stiff. Like, in my legs. BOTH legs, not just one.

2.) It feels odd when I walk, it is hard to explain, and i have been trying to pinpoint exactly what, but it is just odd.

3.) When I lay down, sometimes it feels tingling in my legs.

This usually happens when I am walking or running, but it stops usually when Im not thinking about it so much. Do you know what it might be??

For the past week, I have had weird symptoms of a generally dry cough, irritated throat (tickly, NOT sore).. and excess phlegm/mucus. I very frequently get an urge to draw phlegm from my throat.. and cough. The cough is generally dry. The phlegm is sometimes yellow in colour, only now and then, usually its thick, more clear. I get an immediate urge to cough if i stretch my head back (which stretches my neck). Only rarely does my nose feel a little congested.

A couple weeks before these symptoms started I had a throat infection (acute infective pharyngitis) for which I completed an antibiotic course.. that went away. But then about 2 weeks after that cleared, I started to get these symptoms.

What could they be caused by? Could it be something sinister like throat cancer... or maybe simple as Post nasal drip??

People with restless leg syndrome simply don't exert enough energy before trying to fall asleep. During the afternoon or late evening, they should go for a jog for at least 30 minutes. After doing this, their legs should not be so restless anymore. People get restless when they don't exercise enough or exert enough energy! I'm just so tired of seeing these doctors making up new syndromes (I know RLS has been out for at least a couple years now) so the pharmaceutical companies can pump Americans full of new drugs which in a couple years will be shown to cause heart failure and a multitude of other problems. EXERCISE AMERICA, and I guarantee alot of your problems will just disappear. This is just my opinion, a very strong opinion though.

My father is 53yrs old living in a small country town and has suffered terrible back pain for the last 20yrs. He "broke" his back falling down stairs and then had a lumbar fusion operation. Which apparently was botched. He has had another operation since (6yrs later) but the scarring is very bad and his doctor claims that much of it is irreversable. He is on a ridiculous amount of medications including anti-depressants (a side effect of his constant pain). His doctor says there is nothing they can do, but I know this doctor to be very old and tired of life so I suspect he finds it easier to dope him up rather than find a better solution. Does anyone know a specialist in Melbourne we can go to for a second opinion?

I have nothing in the house that is stimulating enough to do. I am getting depressed. Does anyone have suggestions of where I can go in the day to be stimulated mentally. I am feeling desperate. I walk very slow with a cane and I need to use a wheel chair if I have to go long distances. I have a walker but I can't go too far with it. I am 48 years old female. Thanks for any advice.

The doctor said I either have a lipoma or a dermoid on my brain. He thinks it's a lipoma. I have a small, fatty tumor sitting on my pituitary gland. What's the difference between the two? Will diet and exercise help the tumor fron getting bigger? What will diet and exercise do? What can I do for the tumor to help it?

whenever i swallow something i feel like its going down halfway sorta but im sure its not,i feel very hesitant to swallow, and when i first started getting it i went into an anxiety attack.i ve been to the nose ear and throat doctor and was perscribed liquid penicillin and she said there was nothing in my throat, just infected agnoids.well ive tooken all of the medicine, the pain is gone but i still feel like there is something in my throat and still have difficulty swallowing, one of my friends said its in my head, then told me to try hot saltwater...not so effective, then he suggested i try self regurgitation which i have not tried yet. so if theres anything anyone knows about this experience please tell me.

My mother in law is in her 70's & smoked since age 19. She now is in stage 4 copd & we have her under hospice care. Now she stays in her house & is still mobile, however, she has nurses that come once a week & a home health aid that comes twice a week. My ma in law doesn't like to go anywhere & she doesn't want to get baths. She puts the nurse off all the time. So you have to know that this house smells like old lady. She keeps me & my hubby on the go, but we at least get breaks from her. Today I came in the house & smelled smoke (she was required to quit after getting oxygen) but she still sneaks the smokes. We just got thru installing a $8,000 a/c system but ma in law still smokes anyways.
Why would her doctor place her under hospice care? How can I have more patience. I am not mean, I just get frustrated sometimes with her. She has started asking me where I am going, how long, etc. and I am not even her kid. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I'm 26, no family history of polyps or colon cancer but I have irregular bowel habits from having flat/thin stools to diarrhea (diarrhea if I eat something greasy or spicy). I went to see 3 gastroentergolists to get an opinion:

Dr 1: Told me to change my diet into chicken and vegetables, take laxatives in combination with fiber supplements to clean out the bowel and have normal stools. Said colonoscopy not needed because I'm too young to have polyps or colon cancer

Dr 2: said I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, colonoscopy is out of the question and told me to take fiber supplements

Dr 3: wants to do a colonoscopy to be on the safe side although he thinks it will come out negative anyways.

Should i try the fiber diet change, lose weight (overweight) and see if my stool will return back to normal? Or should I just go for the colonoscopy? I'm just afraid insurance won't cover my colonoscopy because of my age and risk% THanks!
