some hollistic experts would agree on the contoversy of...what comes first, depression or cancer...Standard doctors will tell you that you can't get cancer no matter how depressed or miserable you are, that it's physical and not mental. But some would argue the mind-over matter factor...that people's health is truely in their own hands. They say that diseases will go away once they're not needed. I don't know what kind of cancer it is but you might try buying some Black Salve or Bloodroot Salve from Canada...or Greentea and Garlic diets. But more importantly what is the point of fighting cancer if you can't be happy with the life you have??? I suggest you find some craft you enjoy and mass produce some something that you can sell to people...essentially a home-business and your own website to promote it.

I'm sorry to hear that and hope for you full recovery soon.
Sounds like it's limited in terms of your physical ability to do things physically stimulating which as you know is just as important. I would suggest doing things something like water aerobics, it's much easier on the joints and you'll be able to get exercise without to much wear and tear on your body.
In addition mentally you should try some things on the internet. Do you play chess? It stimulates your mind? Whatever your pleasure, cribbage, backgammon, they help to pass the time, and frankly reading is awesome as well.
Good Luck!

hi, im sorry to hear your problem, one of my best friends got breast cancer when she was only 27. You say you can't move too much but why dont you try to find a yoga class and tell your problem to the instructor, maybe you dont have to do all the right moves but it will get you relaxed.
Join a book club or go to a church to help other people. maybe you can give some conferences on cancer in your church and share your experience with others.
go to a park, look at children playing remember what happiness is. never give up.
remember happiness is given to us by the most simple things in life and not by any material goods. spend time with your family playing cards, board games.
there are many things you can do, but the best is to always have hope and faith in God (in any name, form or shape you want to give him) and yourself.
=)

Try a Nintendo DS gaming system. Handheld video games are compact, portable, and very engaging. There are so many games available, you're sure to find something to suit your taste. If you can find one, a Gameboy Advance SP is also excellent. Both have backlit screens, so you can even play in the dark!

How about the library or what about volunteering somewhere? A lot of places have volunteer opportunities that you could probably do. I volunteer in a hospital and there are several positions where you don't have to be up walking around.

Going online is helpful maybe you can even create a website or a myspace with blogs. Myspace is for all ages. Be strong find communities online that also have the same situation as you. there are many cancer patients out there maybe you should see how children deal with up. Please take care
