There is a sound in my ear --not buzzing but kind of like an engine running and it starts and stops and is fairly quiet (but annoying). It started yesterday. What is this?

I can't sleep at night because it gets really hot in my room, for whatever ******* reason. I have no idea why. It could be because I live in a ******* attic with my mom and step dad, I don't know. Anyways, I have a ceiling fan, a floor fan, and a shitty old air conditioning unit, all on as high as they'll go, and the window is open. Now why is it so freaking hot in my room till 2-4 in the morning? I have these sleeping pills that I've been taking, because my mom told me she doesn't care that it's too hot in my room and I can't sleep, so I've been taking these pills regularly during Summer, and they make me too tired to care how hot it is, but they also knock me out for 10+ hours, and they're not meant to be used as an every-night sleeping medicine. Anyways, I didn't take any last night because I was supposed to go to Driver's Ed today, but I guess that's out the ******* window now. I seriously wanna bash my head against a wall until I'm too retarded to care about anything.

The same was with her friends if she had one she would let it go if we moved
Speech therapy from 5-10 yrs
she has always been seen as bright but there was something holding her back.
She had coloured lenses which helped her learning reading and retaining information read.
She has a speech mannerism that many consider to be an accent when they first meet.
She has no friends she is now 19 and is still the same prefers to play with younger kids still plays with barbies and is very socially awkward.
Will not look for work unless it involves tigers has been obsessed with tigers for nearly 10 years.
Does not take jokes well or critism is VERY sensitive and over reacts.
Has a VERY low pain tolerance.
was diagnossed as mildly depressed as a 10 year old.
As she is an adult what is the best way to see if she does have this syndome. It seems to go a long way in disgribing her behaviours past and present

I went to a club for my birthday. My sister, her boyfriend, and my boyfriend came along. I had 3 vodka and cranberries from 11:30-2:00AM. My boyfriend brought the 4th drink back and told me the bartender gave it to him for free. The drink was very bitter tasting. I kept telling everyone how bad it tasted. I drank half of the drink. 15 minutes later I started to get dizzy and disoriented. I stumbled to the bathroom and blacked out. My sister said I tried to stand 3 times but kept blacking out. I eventually came to, but felt very disoriented for about 20 minutes and was sweating more than I ever had. The whole incidence lasted about 45 minutes. I felt better after that, but there was a time in the bathroom that I didn't know if I would be able to make it out. I'm a responsible drinker. I never go out to get drunk and have never experienced this before. I ate before leaving the house and my boyfriend swears he watched the bartender mix the drink. Everything happened and ended so quickly.

I'm really worried about whether I'm going to get mono, so here's the situation:
I recently went to camp and my counselor had just recovered from mono. I think she had it like 2 weeks before I went to camp, and she had supposedly recovered. Two days ago, I let her borrow my chapstick without realizing that she had mono before, and I used it again after her. Am I going to get sick?
I have been feeling quite tired, unusually cold, and I have had a loss of appetite, but I think that this is because I'm tired from camp.

My son went to the doctor last week and they did a CBC on him. On friday the doctor called me and told me that he had a low WBC. His was at 4.0 and the normals are between 5.0 and 16.0. I went to the doctors office and obtained a copy of the CBC and differentials, but this is all greek to me. The absolute neutrophils were also low, they were 1080 and the norm is between 1500 and 1800. The doctor told me to bring him backin for another cbc in 2 weeks and that the low wbc could mean he has a viral infection or it could be an early sign of leukemia, I am freaking out, I don't want my baby to have to go thru treatments for cancer, somebody please tell me what to do. Should I be worried, what should I be looking for, watching for, Is there any testing that we can do in the mean time to find anything else out. I am paincked. Please Help.

My sister died a couple of months ago and after a delayed reaction, my son now seems to need to touch things (especially me and his Dad) two times. Like if I bump his right knee, he makes me bump the left knee too. It started a few weeks ago and has now gotten really bad. Has this happened to anybody else? Does it pass? I do have an appointment to see a psychologist but just wondering what I should be doing to help make it go away (and am worried that it won't). Any info you can give me would be most appreciated. Thanks so much.

My three month old has had a slight cough since he had his first set of injections three weeks ago. I haven't taken him to the doctor as it only happened a few times a day, mostly when i put him on his back. He was feeding fine and seemed happy and healthy.

Over the last three days his cheeks have been flushed red on and off throughout the day so i took his temperature which came out at 37c. He also feels quite clammy and is dribbling a lot and has also been quite irritable in the evenings.

Should i wait until the doctors surgery opens tomorrow or do something about it now. I looked on the internet and it said a cough in babies under 4 months can be serious. Now i feel like an awful person for not taking him to the doctors sooner. Does anyone know what this may be?? Thanks for your comments, no nasty answers please.

My GP told me I have vertigo last week. I have been suffering from this for 7 days. He said it should last for a few days. It doesn't feel like it's improving. How long is this likely to continue and at what point should I go back to my GP? I work with machinery and I can't afford to take any more time off work!!

I was watching a program on tv and they were talking about an American woman who woke up one day and all of a sudden she had this heavy English accent even though she had never lived in England or spoke with their accent before. She, and every body else was puzzled by that and they thought she was faking it until a doctor actually diagnosed her with 'FAS' and he said it was due to some kind of stroke !! I find that really funny. What kind of stroke causes someone to speak with an English accent all of a sudden ?? Lol, that's really funny.
