I was watching a program on tv and they were talking about an American woman who woke up one day and all of a sudden she had this heavy English accent even though she had never lived in England or spoke with their accent before. She, and every body else was puzzled by that and they thought she was faking it until a doctor actually diagnosed her with 'FAS' and he said it was due to some kind of stroke !! I find that really funny. What kind of stroke causes someone to speak with an English accent all of a sudden ?? Lol, that's really funny.

I saw the same story on tv. I don't think she's faking it. People have all sorts of disorders. Think about terrets! If people are yelling out profanity all the time, someone could certainly switch to a different accent, lol!!

I have heard of foreign accent syndrome but never heard that about strokes being a cause for it. Very interesting indeed.
