I've had Urinary Tract Infections in the past, but it's never hurt when I'd pee. Anyway, lately I've been having lower stomach cramps, backaches (not my period/pms) & when I press on my backside below my ribs, where I guess the kidney would be located, it hurts! What could be wrong? Is my kidney about to fail? How would I know if it was on the verge of failing?

For years my calf muscles have felt this way, but now it's barely tolerable. I do not think it is Restless Leg Syndrome because it's not just a problem when sitting or resting. Exercise makes it lots worse and it is also most severe at night. Major stretching of the muscles seems to help temporarily. Doctor didn't have a clue. I'm looking for a lead on any possible cause. Please help. Thanks!

Also note that the problem came up 10 years ago, same time frame that I gained 20 lbs. Still 20 lbs overweight, is that enough to cause this?

I am 18 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. I recieved an ultrasound today that showed an enlarged left kidney, and a part of the brain was enlarged. I have never had this problem in any of 6 pregnancies. I did have one child born with cleft lip and cleft pallet.

During these days i did not experience any anxiety attacks but i was not in any situation which might trigger anxiety(like flying etc). Any new user of xanax can shed some light here?

Everytime I get out of the bathtub(and sometimes while I'm in it) I get these itchy, red bumps on my forearms and legs, and itchy red weps on my back and the tops of my arms. It feels as if I'm being bitten all over by tiny little bugs. This is beyond annoying. Sometimes I find myself scratching for 30 mins. at a time. Please help!!!!!!!!!

I quit Paxil over a year ago because after 6 years on it, I was getting some scary side-effects. But now I find I have really horrible stomach issues. The slightest anxiety causes me to run to the bathroom. I'm working hard to overcome the anxiety and nerves without drugs. I also learned that serotonin has a big effect on the colon, so my issue makes sense. Any opinions? Experiences?

I have a few little things that I do and I was wondering if anyone knows what they could be if anything at all. The closest I can come to is either OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and/or tourettes syndrom. If I have either it would be a very slight case (that I'm aware of). THe first thing is, when I sit down, I have to be facing a certain way to be comfortable. Like, at a resturaunt, I have to be sitting on a certain side of table or I'll get really uncomfortable. I can't specifically tell you what side it is until I get there. One side will just give me an uncomfortable feeling and I have to move. I also don't like people sitting or being behind me, I feel like they are trying to scare me or grab me. I also twitch some. Not alot and only when I'm stressed, like angry or upset. My head will twitch a little. I know that I have restless leg syndrom so I was thinking maybe it could be part of that. I will get an intense feeling in my hands or leg and I just have to tense it up and shake it out or something. Does anyone know what this could be? Is it all in my head? Is it normal? Or just nothing at all?

Apparently its called 'binge-ing' where she eats late at night shes been noticeably underweight the past couple of years. Is there a chance I have one too? I have a really limited taste in foods and I tend to eat a lot when Im really hungry, in fact I could almost eat a whole pizza (8 slices) if im really starving, and sometimes I eat one or two huge meals a day without snacks. Im not obese nor skinny- Im about 6'0'' 185-190. Thanks!!!!!!

my 4 year old daughter has some issue w/ bowel movements. always has, as a baby i'm talking baby baby we thought she was constipated and she's been seen by many doctor's who have put her on many different medications.
nothing really seems to help enough to make her go. we have given her 2 enima's 30 min's apart *dr's orders* and nothing!!!!!!! now you tell me what 3 year old (at the time) can do that!
she holds it in she'll cross her leg's and tighten up so bad she shakes and her face becomes blood red, and tears in her eyes.
this past month she went 2 almost 2.5 weeks w/o a single movement. holding it and us making her sit on the potty but she'll tighten up and wont let go. we've bribed her w/ toy's, ton's of praise when she does. lot's on encouragement and even some punishments if she hold it and we catch her (she hides). I'm at my whit's end. it's defintly psychological has to be I dont know why though. well she has always had bowel issues but i dont know what to do. any ideas

I tested borderline for lupus twice and I have to continue to be tested every year. Lately I've been feeling terrible. I can't really describe it, but I feel weak, depressed, and I've lost a ton of weight (I'm 5'5 and I weigh 112 now). I had morning classes today and I woke up on time but almost passed out and I didn't feel comfortable leaving the house after that.
I just switched doctors and I don't have my new insurance card yet and I can't go to the doctor until i have it, what is this that I'm feeling?
Could it be stress from college or Lupus "prounouncing itself"?

At work there is a lady that sits in the cubicle next to me who sprays her Lysol in the air probably 5-8 times per day, and she sprays a lot! I know it kills germs but can't it be bad to be breathing Lysol in all day? If you know of any more problems it can cause let me know. Thank you.
