If you gave a specimen for culture & sensitivity while on an antibiotic (if I'm reading this correctly), then the whole point of the C&S is wasted. You cannot test for microorganisms while on an antibiotic. The urine must be taken before abt is started. Noroxin (norfloxacin) (please note spelling) may or may not have an effect on the boil. It depends on whether the bacteria that have caused the boil are susceptible to fluoroquinolones, the class of anitbiotic that Noroxin belongs to. The boil would have to be cultured along with your urine. But if you gave the urine specimen while on abt, you messed that up too. If you're lucky, the organisms causing the UTI and the boil are the same or are both sensitive to Noroxin.

Norfloxacin is an antibiotic and a second tablet would not eliminate infection even if it`s sensitive to norfloxacin. So culture may come up positive. A boil is aother issue and it needs another antibiotic
