Other - Diseases - July 2006

I have been to countless medical doctors and have tried different medications, vitamins, herbs, diets, but my hair still comes out by the handfuls every day, my weight is going up and up, my eyes are swollen and my ankles are long since buried. Has anyone gone through this mess and found a way out?

For 5 years, I was in a relationship with a crystal meth addict. I watched him go on a downward spiral. He lost everything because of drugs. About 2 years ago, I got so fed up, I severed all ties with him except the occaisional phone call just to see how he is doing. I called him last week, just to talk for a few minutes, and he sounds horrible. Last time I saw him in person, around October of '05, he looked very sick and skinny and just aweful. His family is close to worthless and I don't think he has any friends left. I can't help but worry about him. If he doesn't stop using, I am afraid he will die. I have very limited knowledge about meth. I never got into using with him and I really don't know what he is going through, but if there is a way I could help him, I would like to try.

People sell blood, eggs sperm even hair.
and even I would jump at the chance to sell my own kidney if someone waved a million in cash at me.
But why is it so frowned upon when so many will die without one and theres people willing to part with one...for a price...

my sis has addisons disease and i'd like to know how to tell the difference between her disease and it's effects and when she's just being a big old drama queen - - how do I tell? at what age does this disease attack the hardest? how likely is a sudden death from it?

try to push on,or try to figure a way out of the suffering?
just asking views for i have been around death,seen the suffering,in the last stages of cancer
there are other disease and illnesses just as bad
so its not pertaning to just one
some will say to resort to religion but not all men follows a religion

I just noticed there was blood in my feces( i try not to look but I did) and there is a nawing feeling in my tummy like the lining in burning away between my belly button and lower. I am not pregnant and my PAP came back clear. What could the problem be( and yes I know I need to see a DR.) and what kind of doctor should I see to deal with this?
