Arthritis is; Inflammation of a joint(s) causing pain, swelling and stiffness.

Arthrosis is : A line of juncture between bones. A degenerative disease of a joint.

Arthrosis- Very similar to Arth. Arthrosis is a degenerative joint disorder. Found along with Arth. in many cases Arthrosis leaves no calsum deposits instead it degrades the tendons between the joints, while Arth. builds up "knots" on the joint bone itself and rubs whenever the bone is moved. OUCH!@

arthrosis-(1)An articulation or joint.(2) Occasionally used to describe degeneration in a joint.

arthritis -painful swollen joints its an inflammatory condition
eg rhematoid , osteo, psoriatic,rhematic
arthrosis - union of separate bony segments either due to osteocytosis (abnormal bony over growth) or due to impaction
eg spondylosis deformans where a bridge of bony tissue forms in the intervertebral disc between the vertebral bodies
main symptom is stiffness of the joint
arthralgia - is just painful joints
