If its been going on that long, I would hope that you have had the problem evaluated by a doctor by now. If not, I encourage you to do so. I'd guess that a growth, like a nodule for instance, has affected your vocal cords and is impeding your swallowing and effecting your voice. Such things are usually benign and easily treatable, but should also be evaluated to rule out anything serious.

Contact E.N.T.Specialist. Laryngoscopy may be done to find out the underlying cause. Laryngoscopy is examination of the larynx (voice box) using either a small mirror held against the back of your palate, or a viewing tube called a laryngoscope.

If you have a fever, it sounds like strep throat. If your throat HURTS, it's probably strep.

If you DON'T have a fever, it sounds like laryngitis. That goes away within 1 to 2 days and does not require treatment.

It COULD be cancer but that is unlikely. If it persists after 2 days and gets worse, make an appointment to see your doctor.

Especially if you're running a fever.

The question is too broad with not enough details. For one, are you a smoker? If yes, then stop smoking for a few days and see if you don't get some relief. Another possibility is that you could be suffering from seasonal allergies or a cold. If you are a nonsmoker, then i suggest you visit your health care professional

u better go to an ENT dr and get examined
this might be cleft palate its a rare condition but it may also result in above symptoms with recurrent middle ear infections
there are a lot of conditions that cause difficulty in swallowing
they can only be diagnosed by examinations of indirect larngoscopy, posterior rhinoscopy, DNE

Have you had anything in your throat recently that you wouldn't tell your mother about? You could have an oral sexual disease that needs medical treatment soon, or your head might fall off. This happens rarely but it does happen. Without your head you're screwed.....and food will never taste good to you again.

you probably have a viral infection or bacterial.

go see yr doc or to an emergency if you cannot swallow at all. that is not good you wait for it to clear it may not and you may need antibioticos if its viral or at any rate you may need treatment at hospital or at home.

dont postpone it.
better to seek to control it now than regretting it later if you get a lot worse.
