Has anyone seen a decrease in myopia in one eye, from - 3.00 to - 2.25 in three weeks, in a 58 years old man? The vision is still 20/20. What could be the problem? There is no other complaint...He is having a retina hemorrhage in the other eye.

i'm only 23 but i'm very suspicious that i have high blood pressure because i seem to have the symptoms... neck, shoulder and backache, headache, and a feeling of nausea.
what would be the best way to deal with this condition before it gets worse. does my sleeping habit and the fact that i'm in front of the computer most of the time have anything to do with it?
thanks to those who'll help!

I went to the Doctor's last Wednesday for an un-related problem (lower back pain from a broken back last year,) and the Doctor almost immediately focused on my liver. I told her that I had gotten out of (alcohol) rehab in March, and I have been abstinent now for about 5 months. She immediately did a blood test (liver panel,) sent me for x-rays, sent me for a liver ultrasound yesterday, put me on LASIX for severe edema, has ordered an eye exam for high blood pressure in my eyes, has hinted at more tests (biopsy?) and scheduled me for the follow-up exam on Thursday. She showed me how to locate the liver, and it IS enlarged - it protrudes about three finger widths below my bottom rib, and I saw it on the ultrasound. Does anyone have any medical opinions? I appear otherwise to be totally healthy, but these things all point to a grim outcome. Does anyone have any philosophical opinions? As soon as I started doing the "right" things, the world has come crasshing down upon me, and I'm SCARED!

Recently I began to consume more water than usual, and have actually eliminated all other fluids and drink nothing but water.. Ever since I started doing this 2 weeks ago, there are days in which I have very frequent urination...sometimes i go about 4-5 times in 45 mins- an hour, and it is never alot that comes out and it isn't even that urgent...and most of the time its pretty dilute/ clear in color, so I presume its the change in water consumption that the body isn't used to, but I just wanted to confirm, as I did read that frequent urination is a symptom of other medical problems such as Diabetes, Urinary tract infection, prostate innflammation etc.. I was just wondering if there's anyone who also experiences this and/or knows about stuff like this...Thank you so much

( Also...i usually never wake up at night to urinate, and this happens mostly during the day and evening..hope this info helps)

Hey everyone out there thonk about it-when you die your body no longer needs your organs but other people do! I see 1st hand almost daily the need for organs, and bone marrow donors. Most of the people I meet are children and it's great to see them get a new lease on life although I always feel for the family on the other end too. Recycle yourselves so when you die many parts of you live on & on & on. Thanks!! and God bless anyone who is or becomes an organ donor.

My Son is 5 and was diagonosed with ADHD. We have tried Adderall , it helped, but it supressed his appetite too much and we switched hm to Strattera. That doesent work at all he is all ove the place all of the time. He is starting Kindergarten in a few weeks and I am afraid of his teachers seeing this as a bad child, which he is not, we have raised him to be respectful and have good manners. He is just too hyper at times and dosent always think about what hes doing. Any suggestions on a different medication or tips with dealing with him. I know of other ADD meds, and I am not a big fan of Ritalin. Our ultimate goal is to get him under control w/o meds.
