A person will urinate more frequently when they start drinking more water, which is a good thing. It means your body is cleansing itself of waste/toxins. After a few days (for most people) or a couple of weeks (in rare cases), the frequency tapers off and returns to your more normal pattern. Your current pattern is unlikely something to worry about, unless you experience painful urination, itching, burning, or other unusual symptoms. Good for you, deciding to drink healthy!!

If you drink a lot of any type of liquid it would increase urination. Good for you for only drinking water that is the healthy way to go. It's not a problem, the first thing I could think of would be diabetes but from the way you explained your process I think you're all good. Drink on!

I noticed the same thing when I started drinking only water. Its normal, though. Because your body has to do less with the water, it goes through your system faster, and thus you have to go more. For instance, if you drank something besides water, juice or whatever, your body would have to strip the good and bad parts out, realize what the body doesn't need, and then get rid of it. All your body has to do with water is let it go through.
Water's so healthy, though, its always a good idea to drink more of it.

It does for me. If I'm fully hydrated- any additional water I drink I'll usually urinate within an hour or so. -Particularly if I have an empty stomach. If you don't have to get up in the middle of the night- you probably don't have to worry about having diabetes. You might have a weak bladder...-There are exersizes for those that you can get from your doctor. Probably going to one for a physical would be a good idea in your case.

A u.t.i. will burn when you pee.
drinking lots of water can be a sign of diabetes. You need the water to void the blood glucose that cannot be converted into it's storage form, gucagon, in the liver (that requires the hormone insulin to do it). so the excess glucose must be eliminated in the urine. Prostate inflammation hurts like hell in the anal region. The area gets swollen and sensitive (when you sit), and the area swells up.
If you drink gallons of water in a short time period you can die from acute water poisoning. The water electrolite (salts), balance goes out of whack and it can be curtains.

Ok, Having clear urine is good, it means that your body is free of any toxins. But you should not only be drinking water, you need to get your other nutrients, so drink at least 3 glasses of milk and One glass of Juice a Day. I did the same thing. Trust me I thought my body was going to shut down because I was peeing so much. Don't worry, it's normal

depends how old you are. if you're young it's probably prostatitis or an infection. It's possible it could be bladder/kidney stones or cystitis but I highly doubt that based on your symptoms. Get checked for prostatitis or infection. 4 to 5 times an hour is not normal. When I had prostatitis I was going about every 45 minutes at times.

thats right, if you consume more water than usual, you should expect to urinate more. If you take only water and have a clear DIET as well, your urine should (the word is should) be clear too, however, if there are medical conditions, then your urine colour may be affected too.
E.g. you drink a lot of beer, your uring colour is expected to be yellow, you drink clear lime juice, then your urine colour should be like drinking water, and is clear. Too much Coffee and tea would also similarly give you clouded coloured urine.

yes. drink water is great for you!! its good that you have made this change. when anyone goes to urinate, the urine should be clear or very light yellow. if its darker yellow, then that means the body is dehydrated and is thristy. your body isnt used to this change in drinking alot of water, but, give it time to adjust. sounds like you are on the right track! keep up making healthy choices and good luck!

My husband started this weird drinking of only water afew years ago. I don't understand it why you would want only water and deprive your self of any other taste. but that's your chose.
What you are doing is basically cleaning your system of toxic waste. Your kidneys will do this for you but with only water your kidneys are not needing to do there job so you will urinate more this will not change much but your urine should stay clear or very light.
