i have a constant infection in my throat and my doctor just laughs at me as it wont go.it feels like i have a constant lump in my throat and when i swallow it feels like a click.when i swallow my food it goes down so slow sometimes it feels like it hasn,t moved.could anyone answer this question for me.i am running out of answers?..

No direah, no vomiting, no neausia. I haven't traveled, been around any reptiles, or been anywhere I can think of where I might have been cross-contaminated by incorrectly prepared chicken or eggs or sprouts etc.

I only went into the doctor in the first place because I had a MILD urinary tract infection. Now I'm getting calls from my doctor AND the California State Health Department who are BOTH wanting to run all these tests and *@#$. These tests consist of numberous visits to various offices in order to take the UTTERLY embarrassing stool and urine samples.

After showing no signs what so ever is it REALLY necessary? Did I mention that this was about TWO weeks ago? and they're JUST NOW calling me all paranoid I'm going to spread it.... even though the incubation period for contamination of others from myself is long gone. I just think this is all paranoid, pointless, and over compensation. Should I really bother running through this battery of tests?

i'm going to the gyno next monday to talk with her about being put on the pill. i know about the whole doctor patient confidentiality, i dont' want my parents to know that i'm going on it, but does anyone know if it will show up on their insurance? we have united health care.

My grandmother is in the isolation unit since she has a MRSA infection in her lungs. They've tried multiple antibiotics, all of which have done nothing. Now the hospital is going to discharge her since they say there is nothing they c`an do and that she'll have to recover on her own. Now from what I know from MRSA, that seems highly unlikely - especially in an elderly women with congrestive heart failure. Am I wrong? What more can be done? Thanks!

Hello! I haven't been feeling well today! Here are my symptoms:
-felt queasy all day
-fatigue
-felt reall hot then really cold
-stuffy nose
-headache
-nausea
-overall feeling of sickness

I didn't eat too much today because I felt sick to my stomach. I still feel really sick, so I will go lie down now. I'll check back for answers later. Thanks guys. I have to go to school because I have exams, but I'd like to know what I might have. Thank you! Bye!

seen by the nurse everyday but last night came down with flu like symptons with a slight fever an alot of pain in her arm. i took her to the docs first thing an they've taken a swab for MRSA but told me its gona take seven days for the results to come back but i feel thats to long what can i do.

My friend's dad got infected by HIV a year ago thru exposed cuts. Then the mother got infected a week ago by using her dad's shaving blades. I dunno if she is infected. I love her as my friend and i hope that she didnt but I'm aware of my health too. I'm scared of getting infected. Is there anyways I could avoid n prevent myself from getting it? 1 thing for sure is that i dont want to stop hanging out with her!

Grandmother has shingles, she lives with my inlaws and we are over there several times a week. I think all of our children are small enough that they have received the chickenpox vaccine. Oldest child is 8 and had chickenpox under the age of 2. How can shingles be transmitted? Can they ONLY be transmitted to people who have NOT had chickenpox? Serious responses only please. Need info. asap! Thank you in advance!

i remember having chicken pox when i was about 7 years old and i remember my mum covering me in camomile and the spots i am now 26 years old my brother is 28 . but my brother got chicken pox about 4 weeks ago and now i have them ,is this possible to have it twice.
p.s i have a low immune system and im quite under weight i weigh 7 stone
