Yes it is posible. The first time you had it should have been enough to build antibodies. It can be posible to get it again, I have seen cases like this, but it is hardly something serious. In your particular case, you should be treated properly by a Dr. due to your low immune system, 'cause it can bring serious consequences.

With the Human Body anything is possible. I think that it is possible. There is so much that doctors DO NOT know about the human body. Strange things are uncovered everyday. If you had Chicken Pox as a child, you still are a carrier for the infection to give to people who have never had it. As adults Chicken Pox can be fatal. Also the virus can cause what is called "The Shingles" whick are pox that swell up and skin called scar and it is very painful. If you think you may have the virus, contact a compentent doctor today asap!

Yes it is possible. When you had them originally it must have been a fairly mild case and your body did not have a strong enough immune response. Meaning your body didn't create enough antibodies to the virus. If you would like to know your risk of developing Chicken pox again I suggest you have a titer taken. A titer will tell you whether or not you had a strong enough immune response after this episode of chicken pox. But don't forget that later in life you will always have the risk of developing Shingles.

It is possible, my friend had them four times and her daughter has them now so she's worried she'll get them again. I'm lucky, I had chicken pox at 6 weeks old and shingles when I was 9 so hoping I don't get any kind of form of chicken pox because my immune system like yours is low.

Hope you feel better soon and try not to scratch too much.

Most people believe that you can only get chicken pox once in your life, but there has been a case reported where it was the second time the person has gotten it. I would suggest going to get a chicken pox vaccine or booster from your doctor so you don't get it three times!!

yes, you probably had a mild case when you were young. chicken pox and shingles are caused by the same virus but are different in the way they appear on the body. shingles usually are around the torso and they are very, very painful. They follow along the nerves. and take longer to get rid of and you can get them again.

Yes! I'm knocking on a bit and I have had chicken pox 3 times and shingles twice. Shingles is very painful. Apparently the virus remains in your body and lies dormant until something sparks it off, stress etc.

Yes, I had them twice by the age of 18. I had them once when I was a kid, and then a few years ago had them again. Even my doctor confirmed it was chicken pox

It's very possible, I've had Chickenpox 3 times and Shingles twice now. The fact that you have a low immunity is the key to getting it again.

The first time you got it it was chicken pox. It's the same virus that's acting up right now, called shingles.
