I was told that 48% of homosexual men have HIV. I think that this is rather high and probably an exaggeration. But others in the room all agreed. Apparently it was heard on some news broadcast (which really does not mean a whole lot to me). Does anyone have any stats on this?

Honestly, I wasn't kissing my cat. He tried to chew on my pen while I was writing. I have a habit of chewing pens too so I stuck it in my mouth without thinking and ewwwwww!! It tasted like his tuna breath. What's going to happen to me now?!!

My kids don't seem to have it. From what I've read so far it's not that easy to catch. Any doctors out there with advice? Other moms have you had experienced this? What's your advice?

I have recently tested positive during a blood test for my visa application. I am 23 yrs old, never had a blood transfusion, never did drugs, I have no tattoos & no piercings. I can't believe this test as I have no risk factors associated with hepatitis C. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm very worried, but I also have read that for low risk individuals false positives can actually be quite common. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was just handed a letter from my childs school that the teacher has caught Valley fever. She said it is not contagious but it makes her very sick and tired. It sounds as if she isn't coming back next year but is going to finish the school year. She said in the letter that there is no medicine she can take to make it go away...so I take it it is permanent but is it deadly?

Had a high fever and am now on antibiotics but still a slight fever. By slight, I mean woke up and temp was 98.6, but today at noon was about 99.5. Been taking tylenol for about 5 days now since at first had a fever of 103. When is the right time to stop taking it? When no more sign of fever? Or is under 100 okay? thx
