I was just handed a letter from my childs school that the teacher has caught Valley fever. She said it is not contagious but it makes her very sick and tired. It sounds as if she isn't coming back next year but is going to finish the school year. She said in the letter that there is no medicine she can take to make it go away...so I take it it is permanent but is it deadly?
