I like to buy clothes from thrift stores because they are so much cheaper than buying them new: but is it possible to be infected by something from the previous owner if I wash the clothes with laundry detergent before I put them on? Thanks.

Every year just as soon as it gets cold outside he gets a pnoumia. He walks around his house with a cell phone claiming that sometime he can't make it to his real house phone. He hides his medicine in a cabanet that nobody can get to. He has bleach in his bathroom. He always has nice houses and money. We are not that close because he always lie to me about everything. He is bi-sexual. I am becoming a medical assistant so that I can find out more infomation. I also wanted to know If I worked in the hospital would I be able to pull up his chart ? and find out the truth because this is something that he will never tell me. Me and my mother went to see him because he was in the hospital with pnomonia and he waited until the last day to tell me that he had a blood transfusion, when we got to his house my mother said that he has a mask ( she said that she would know because she was a HHA and she had to deal with AIDS patients) Please help.

Does your uvula have to be inflamed in order to effect your swallowing? Or just infected? Because I don't know what is going on with my throat, but when I swallow I feel something hard there and the uvula looks sore and slanted. But it doesn't look inflamed...

My father's been sick for the past few days with feverish chills (w/o the fever... ), extreme body aches, hot flashes, and a long, dry, persistant cough.

is this the flu?

He doesen't have a fever, but goes from freezing cold, to hot as he!!, in a minute flat!

And there's no change in body temperature...

How do you feel about going to take the test each time? What would you do if you were found to be HIV positive?

I am afraid each time before going and while waiting for the results but then I am okay once I get the negative result. I have been more careful as I mature but I wasn't always careful in my younger years and My exhusband used to cheat on me. So I worry. I know that it could take years to manifest.

When you visit the dentist, how can u be sure that the tools the dentist uses on u are sterilized and clean. I mean maybe the dentist uses the same tools on an earlier patient and then forget to replace the tools or sterilize them and then uses them again on the next patient.

I am asking because I visited a dentist lately and I am afraid he might have passed hiv to me.

He was a very good and clean dentist but I am still afraid
