On the inside of my eyelid, I have a brown speck. Surrounding it is a small white circle. It sometimes itches me, and I have had no clue why until today when I noticed it in the mirror. I have also noticed that my vision at only 13 years old is getting worse rapidly. Could that speck have any effect on my vision? Could it be a disease? An eye infection?

I'm 20 years old and my father has just got shingles and i read that you can catch chicken pox from it. I'be never had chicken pox before and today i've come up with about 7 red bumps on my body that itch and they are coming more and more.

But the thing is i feel completly normal and healthy apart from these marks, do you think its chicken pox and if so will i get a high temperature and feel sick or will it just continue to itch?

My sister has been ill this year. Had surgery in Aug 06 and received 2 units of blood. Has now been diagnosed with Hep C and is being tested for HIV. Dr thinks she got it from the blood transfusions. Other causes are pretty much ruled out. (She is in a monogomous relationship and does not do drugs.) I thought they tested blood for these things. Is it possible that the test missed these things?

i know an older woman, she is dating a much younger man, he is 20 years old, she is in her mid 40's, lets just say that I know 4 a fact that she has the H.I.V. virus, i've known she had it definitely in 1994 was when i found out but she doesn't know that i know about her condition, she's been with her boyfriend now for about 5 years now, and he has no idea that she has the virus, everyone noticed the change in her weight, last summer she wore a size 9, now she is in a size 4 or 5. I know that she is going to h e l l for doing what she is doing, she told my grandmother that he probably had it already, how selfish is she.

Why do we suddenly get the flu in December. Why do people get more colds in winter.

And does the other half of the world (eg Australia) also get flu at this time of year even though its their summer, or do they have a separate flu season in their winter.
