Yes.
Any infection is dengerous to anyone who has an immune-supressing condition ie cancer. The fever will be even more dangerous if the child is recieveing chemotherapy as this attacks the cells which fight off infections.
Wow I've learnt something after all of these months in treatment!

People with leukaemia have very little or no immune system, needless to say that even a simple cold could develop into septicaemia.

Yes scarlet fever is dangerous to have, even if you don't have leukaemia.

Professional medical interventions would be necessary with leukaemia patients who have any kind of infection / inflammatory disease.

As people suffering leukaemia are immune suppressed any illness would be dangerous to their health! In fact, scarlet fever is dangerous for any child even healthy, due to complications.

Scarlet Fever (aka Scarlatina) is dangerous for anyone, though as leukaemia affects the immune system, then it would be even worse for children suffering from it.

If you have a child with leukaemia, any illness has to be treated with more care. This is especially so if the child is receiving chemotherapy as this weakens the immune system.

Children with Leukemia have poor immune systems, thus all illnesses are more of a risk to them- they are more likely to catch any illness, and will be more poorly with it as well. A child with leukemia should avoid spending time with someone who has an infectious disease- which scarlet fever is.
