There is no cure for the common cold, but i was given advice in a heath food shop to take vitamin C up to 3000 mg per day to help stop the cold from developing and this has worked for me

The best treatment for a cold is cold and flu tablets, and go to bed, drink plenty of fluids and rest, that way you are not spreading it around and you will recover quicker. To help prevent colds, take oderless garlic tablets all year, you can buy them from the supermarket.

i think lempsip the lemon and honey flavour is the best. You just add hot water. Get the strongest one if its really bad. It tastes nice too, and you can add honey or sugar for a sweeter taste. If you fancy blackcurrent flavour, thats available too. Make sure you dont take paracetamol aswell, as their is already some inside the lemsip, so you can only take it every 4 hours. I hope that helps. You can nuy it from most if not all pharmacies. Boots and superdrug always stocks it too.

Garlic. Eat loads of it. I eat it tonnes and when my kids get colds I rarely pick them up and they're not very bad when I do.
