I've was taking One-A-Day weight smart for about a week, but I stopped because I would feel my heart flutter every hour or so. I haven't taken them in three days, but I still feel those flutters frequently. Will these eventually go away?

Not considering efficacy; Is it true that bretylium is off the ACLS guidelines because the supply/availability has been exhausted? Remember I am not questioning it's effectiveness, just the fact that supposedly it is no longer available? And then, what does "NO LONGER AVAILABLE" mean?

I've heard that the ECG and the Echo can sometimes miss a problem with the heart. What should one do to find out for sure if there is an issue with the heart, or any of the arteries and blood vessels?

I get a pain in my heart and upper left arm at the same time and its very sharp but very fast. Ive only got it maybe 3 times at most and I know arm pain is supposed to be associated with heart attacks and I'm wondering if these feelings are mild heart attacks or of maybe it something less severe. I've had an EKG done and though mt heart beat was irregular that's all that was found. Could this be a sign of bad cirrculation perhaps as well? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was shocked when my latest blood work came back w/my cholesterol at 264. The DR prescribed Vytorin. I am in my 40's, don't drink or smoke. Don't eat red meat or anything fried. Very healthy lifestyle. My DR said it can very well be heredity. This is scaring me to death! Has anyone had choleserol higher than 264?

My mother (she's 50) has been on Bactrim for several years now due to reoccurent UTI caused by a bladder ulcer. What are the major concerns for taking this over the long term (other than bacteria resistant infections) Also she had an episode of tachycardia (160-172) for an hour and the next day she checked her B/P and it was 86/72. Her pulse is usually in the 60's and her B/P is normally 110/70-ish. Could this have anything to do with her long term Bactrim use? (And yes I already told her to go to the Dr.'s, she is there at this moment...I am just trying to find out for my own information) Thank you everyone who answers.
