the heart on avaerage beats 60 times a minute. depending on the physical activity you are doing like running, jogging, ect; your heart will beat faster. while your sleeping, your heartbeat will decrease say around to 40- 50 beats a minute. the normal range of a heartbeat is around 60-80 beats per minute.

Normal is considered to be 60 to 100 beats per second by the medical standards. This is called normal sinus rhythm. If the heat beat is slower than sixty is called bradycardia and faster than 100 is called tachycardia. Hope this helps.
