I was diagnosed with PVC and was put on a beta blocker.
I dont think the problem has changed. I usually get them when i am over tired. Also the meds have made me gain weight and i think that also is causing the problem to persist. Just wanted to chat with someone in regards to their symtoms

Hello. I am 32, very thin (125 lbs at 5'8'') and very athletic (play a lot of sports). I wear a heart rate monitor (Polar) when working out and sometimes leave it on when I am home. I notice that sometimes my heart rate will be in the normal range (60 to 85 bps) when I am sitting and watching Tv or reading and then it jumps to about 215 or 233 it stays there for less then a minute. This happens about twice a day (at different times). Should I be worried? Do I need to see a doctor? Does anyone knowwhat might be happening? Thanks in advance for your help.

He just had a pacemaker put in three weeks ago. Doctor's post-op checkup two days ago was fine. Heart rate is good. Is the drop in blood pressure this morning a problem? I can't find anything about low blood pressure illness in my medical book.

I got a call today from my doctor about my lab results. It seems that I have high cholesterol levels. I'm only 22 and I was curious if anyone else was diagnosed at a young age and/or what I can do about it. I know lifestyle changes are in order, but I'd like to know if anyone has specifics that worked well for them.

About 4 months ago I had this feeling in my chest, like my heart was sinking into me but it only happened every once in awhile.. It's really hard to explain. It didn't hurt but it was weird and a bit uncomfortable. It kinda made me feel like I was losing my breath. My mom took me to the doctor and he said it was probably nothing. About a month later it got a little more intense and was happening more then once a week. It started hurting a little and made me a little sick to my stomach. Now, it is a constant feeling. I feel like someone is grabbing my heart and twisting it. It isn't always real bad but sometimes it gets tearjerking. I am also having alot of headaches recently. I'm only 17 and I have no way to get to a doctor. My parents think I'm overreacting but I'm starting to get really worried. Does anyone have any idea what this could be and what should I do if I can't get my parents to get me to a doctor? Should I even be concerned so much?
