My 12 year old son has Vulvar Pumlonary Stinosis and is on a weight lifting restriction now but may have a running restriction next year. Today, the gym teacher called and said my son looked distressed while running a mile. So, he had made him walk the rest of the way. My son, angry, sat on the bleachers and cried after the run was over.

The teacher explained to me that they will be doing a lot of cardio this year and suggested a heart rate monitor. The teacher feels bad and understands that my son does not want to be "different", but he is scared and so am I. My son just wants to be like the other kids.

You really wouldn't know there is anything wrong with him by looking at him. He is the most normal kid and he wants everyone to continue to see him that way.

Do you have any suggestions?

She's lying in bed right now, unable to get up because if she does her head will spin and she will be so dizzy and nauseous that she will want to lie back down. She's only 51 years old, and I'm quite worried about her.
These are her symptoms:
-dizziness
-nausea
-from time to time head hurts; it's the kind of hurting like your skull's too small and is tight on your brain
-a little congestion
-head spins

She says that it's only in the head; nothing is wrong with her other parts. Please say if it is low blood pressure or high blood pressure. IF YOU DON'T KNOW, DON'T SAY ANYTHING. I DON'T WANT MY MOTHER TO SUFFER BECAUSE SOMEONE GUESSED.
Only people who know what they're talking about answer, PLEASE. Thank you very much

She was diagnosed with it two years ago(she is currently almost 9 years old),and we go back for a check-up in December.I sometimes worry about her,but I try not to hold her back too much.I am as well informed on the condition as I can be,and I watch for symptoms;she has complained of chest pain twice, and one time, for a few days she seemed extremely tired. My question also relates to her school. They are asking the kids to run for 30 min. once a week, and everyday they run for about ten minutes.I am afraid this is too much stress for her.Her records have not caught up with us from her other school(we just moved from Austin to San Angelo)so I'm also wondering what I could do about that. Our insurance has not kicked in at my husbands new job,but if necessary, I will find a way to get her to a Dr. here so that he can write her an excuse,if need be.

I'm sure is is different in almost every case, but can a person with normal blood pressure be having a heart attack. When a person is in the hospital ER for Heart Attack, do they normally have a low or high BP? Does a "stress induced" heart attack normally occur in people with normal BP? O know the symptoms, but nothing mentions BP

I'm looking in particular to get a pendanent style necklace where you can put a piece of paper in it outlining the persons medical history/conditions and treatment. Its for my Dad who has a number of life threatening conidtions that couldn't be engraved on a bracelet (just not enough room!)

Only for those familiar with ECG structure:

The QT interval in my ECG is .5s, It says I have QT interval. However, on the next ECG it is .4s. Does this mean I HAVE LQT or paroxysmal or what?
