I'm looking in particular to get a pendanent style necklace where you can put a piece of paper in it outlining the persons medical history/conditions and treatment. Its for my Dad who has a number of life threatening conidtions that couldn't be engraved on a bracelet (just not enough room!)

I was looking for something like that also, but I didn't find it. What I did was get the regular medical alert pendant and engraved in there to look for the medical ID card in my wallet. There I have listed all Meds and Conditions, Emergency Phone Numbers, Doc Number..... I think that is a better choice.

Medic Alert itself has a pendant necklace that is a place to start. They have a number of different styles available. The best way to do is to have a card in the wallet with the updated medical information.

A lot chemists sell these items there are necklaces and bracelets. If your chemist doesn't have them a lot of doctors have the forms to order them.Good luck

hi definite it particularly is actual the bracelets & necklaces are recogniseable using fact on a million part of the bracelet/necklace it has sos written interior the direction of the middle & talisman written above & under the sos bit & to the part of the sos it has little arrows asserting which way that the back screws off from the front ! as for being recognized world extensive i might have suggested definite using scientific communities understanding what to look out for & with sos written on the bracelet/necklace it wouldnt be ignored ! so the respond on your question is not any its no longer mumbo jumbo i understand somebody who easily wears a million as they be afflicted by severe allergies ... desire this permits
